Harris-Galveston Subsidence District and Fort Bend Subsidence District to hold briefing regarding upcoming regulatory planning project at the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District Office at 1660 W. Bay Area Blvd., Friendswood, TX, 77546 on March 4th, 2019 at 2:00 pm.

The Harris-Galveston Subsidence District and Fort Bend Subsidence District will be holding an optional information meeting regarding an upcoming regulatory planning project that will be released for statements of qualifications late in the spring of 2019. The project could include public outreach, engineering services, population and water demand forecasting, source water availability, groundwater and subsidence modeling, and other technical services associated with regulatory plan development.

The District’s regulatory plan serves to prevent the occurrence of subsidence in the future. The current Harris-Galveston Subsidence District regulatory plan is available on the district’s website at hgsubsidence.org . The current Fort Bend Subsidence District regulatory plan is available at fbsubsidence.org. Both regulatory plans were last updated in 2013.
