The 2026 Gulf Coast Water Conservation Symposium will be held in person at the beautiful Hyatt Regency in Baytown on October 22, 2026, offering attendees networking opportunities, a lunch buffet, refreshments, and an incredible lineup of speakers, including Liz Fazio Hale, CEO & General Manager of the Gulf Coast Authority, as our keynote speaker. The one-day program will provide information on implementing successful water conservation programs, funding opportunities for water conservation projects, engaging customers, and planning for the future.
This year we are excited to offer symposium registrants an add-on option for a subsidence tour at the Baytown Nature Center. At the conclusion of the #GCWCS26 program, a shuttle bus will transport attendees from the Hyatt Regency Baytown to the Baytown Nature Center for this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour to discover the remnants of the Brownwood Subdivision, guided by experts and a former resident. Gain important insight about subsidence in our region and hear firsthand about the impact subsidence had on this community.
Registration must be secured online through the symposium website before October 16, 2026.
All ticket sales are final. If you are unable to attend, you may designate another person to attend in your place by contacting events@subsidence.org with the name and email address of the person you wish to attend in your place BEFORE registration closes on October 16, 2026.
