The District’s Science & Research Program is proud to announce that its study, “Evaluation of Subsidence Impacts in the Spring Creek Watershed,” has been published by MDPI, a global leader in open-access publishing that supports research communities and accelerates scientific discovery.

The article is featured in MDPI’s Water Journal Special Issue, “Sustainable Groundwater Management and Mitigation of Land Subsidence: Evaluating Environmental Impacts and Resilience Strategies,” and provides a technical overview of the study’s findings. It was peer-reviewed by technical experts in subsidence and hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) modeling.
