The Harris-Galveston Subsidence District (HGSD) initiated a Joint Regulatory Plan Review in January 2020 in cooperation with the Fort Bend Subsidence District to estimate future changes in population and water demand, assess the availability of future alternative water supplies, review and update predictive groundwater and subsidence models, and evaluate planned regulatory requirements on future subsidence rates by analyzing various scenarios. This workshop comprises an overview of those four main tasks.
The workshop will begin upon the adjournment of the Regular Board meeting on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at approximately 10:30 AM (CST).
